T-Mobile’s G1 (the first Android based phone) launched yesterday… and by the looks of it, the feedback is almost all positive… at least on the blogosphere. The software is still a little buggy and the keyboard does not seem as easy-to-use as more refined Qwerty keyboards like the Blackberry Curve… but overall positive feedback.
I’ve written about the G1 before…One of the main features of the Android OS platform is it’s open model… which allows developers to create Apps with much less regulation, SDK downloads and IP issues than Apple forces developers to go through. The Android Market already features over 50 apps… most of which are free. TechCrunch posted a list of the top 10 by their reviewer Erick Schonfeld. Some of the apps really look cool…
