In it’s never-ending quest to make-some-money’ through a successful and un-intrusive advertising strategy, YouTube raises the curtain on monetized, full-length shows… not long after they unveiled the Amazon and ITunes affiliate links, where users can purchase movies, shows or music… earning YouTube a small commission. I didn’t actually see this coming, and think it’s quite a good idea… definitely not intrusive and should not get any complaints from viewers. As to whether it’ll make any significant money from it… it’s a different story..
Unrelated and rather perplexing… YouTube has also added an Audio Preview feature to the comments section for users to hear their own comments back, before they Submit them. Apparently this is a humorous way of getting people to stop posting such stupid YouTube comments !?!
